I have had this with a few orders recently - Tesco simply decide they will cancel without explaining why and no apology. When buying items with bonus points I don't take the mickey, I limit myself to buying 2 or so.

I'm not sure why Tesco are doing this and whether the orders are being cancelled by the system or by human intervention but either way I think it's poor form and they should be upfront about the reason why they are cancelling orders. This whimsical approach is totally unprofessional and not something I've ever experienced with another retailer.
I wonder if it's some sort of stock system thing. I was one of a number of people who had a Galaxy Note tab order cancelled in November. Based on the timing of the cancellations we guessed it was either that the stock had run out or that the bonus points code had been used the maximum number times. Less than 48 hours later my wife managed to place the same order and the points were applied immediately. If it wasn't for the points I would have given up on Tesco Direct years ago. My first ever book order was damaged due to poor packaging and there have been various problems since then. The only time that there was a problem with an Amazon order it was very quickly and professionally resolved.
