Sorry to disappoint you but unfortunately you're pretty much out of luck with that on United. From RIC you'd have to go up to JFK (via IAD), fly a PS flight to SFO / LAX and then get on another flight from there up to YVR (RIC - IAD - JFK - SFO / LAX - YVR), much more trouble than it is worth since only PS will have the kind of seat you are looking for. Alternatively, there is an IAD - ORD flight every evening that is a 767-300 being re-positioned, but you'd have to fly RIC - IAD - ORD - YVR with only the IAD - ORD having lie-flat.
