FYI Unpublished fares tend not to be the fares you find when searching Expedia or any other OTA. They are for purchases as part of cruises, packages and for name-your-own-price type deals (Priceline, etc). Generally, if you're booking online and you can pick between that flight and another one, where both the airline and the price are visible, you're good to go.
I agree. Other than the packages, name-your-own-price, and identified "special" fare deals mentioned above, we've had zero reports of purchases from Orbitz, Expedia, Travelocity, etc. not getting full MQM credit. People are getting hung-up on the fact that they are third parties, but are missing the fact that these are published fares which is the main criteria.
