Actually as one who was driven at 200km (yes I watched the speedometer) on an Autostrada by a man who thought that he could entice me away from respectability (but thatīs OT) - I assure you that the comparison with Concorde is not incorrect.

Concorde was not unduly noisy and I never heard a single complaint from passengers. I only flew as a passengers in 4D as Eurofleet (short haul as was) provideded the crew. It was actually code shared by Branniff and on the JFK - DFW sector it never flew supersonic but it was faster than anything else and a filet and a lobster tail was loaded for all passengers.

Now two of those three have gone. The Testarossa has as well to the best of my belief and knowledge
