Nope, no upgrades. I've flown VA domestic with empty seats up front and my PM butt in Y.

The lounge is nice with a good breakfast buffet, although they can be a bit crowded. Also there's no alcohol served until 11, then beer only.

You also get priority checkin, security, boarding, and elite baggage allowances.
