Hello there Flyertalk people, I'm hoping you might be able to help me with something.
I flew LH from FRA to GIG two days ago in coach, on a standard low-fare revenue ticket. It wasn't the most comfortable experience
so I'm trying to figure out how to fly business or first on the way home.
I was able to book a first class seat on the way back using a one-way United aware without any problems, but I'm aware that things can get dicey when the same person has two reservations for the same flight.
Is it possible for me to check in for both reservations and then board with both boarding cards, so that a) I accure the miles on my original coach class ticket, and b) get to sit in the first class seat I just booked using miles?
