Whoa - you're still misreading me. And I already said I'm not an offender no matter how ridiculous I think the rule is. So I've caused nothing. I'm probably the biggest rule follower I know. Chill, please. I'm military. I'll follow the rules and I do - according to some FTers I'll follow them off a bridge because I've been programmed to do so.

I don't turn my cell phone on while we're taxiing because I'm not that important, I stow stuff when I'm told, and basically I'm a pretty easy passenger. It's the crew's aircraft and they're pretty much the boss.
I'm talking about people out of control and flipping out on pax for no reason. There are ways to induce compliance and screaming at people is not it. Professional reminders are one thing, but going postal on people is something else. And some FAs don't know the difference, a fact that's been discussed here ad nauseum.
Some pax and some people in general don't know it either.
