If you are planning to travel via BUF using a bus from Toronto and are not using Greyhound (or its NEON pup), Megabus offers faster service. I became aware that Megabus Canada and Megabus USA operate the route but at different times and at different fares. Megabus Canada, aka Coach Canada, runs from Toronto to Niagara Falls to downtown Buffalo to BUF and back, twice a day. This is very reliable. You get to that schedule by going to www.megabus.com and using the "Canada" link, in either direction. Their head office is in Peterborough. If you use choose the "USA" link, you get a different schedule, with buses that continue on to New York and return from New York - they are based in the US. The buses from New York are more subject to delays because of the longer run and the fare seems to be higher (the fare on the most recent trip BUF-Toronto trip was $8 on the Canadian site and $23 on the US site a few days in advance) Greyhound has a single site and a web fare of $17.
