Dear those with experience- Am I attempting too much?
We (2 adults) are traveling to Australia for the first time. We have a Black Sabbath concert in Perth on May 4th, that is the only time requirement. I understand that Perth is alllll the way across Australia, but thats where we have tickets. I am thinking :LAX-PERTh stay for a few days. Perth to Sydney. Sydney to somewhere in New Zealand. Somewhere in new zealand to Auckland. Auckland to Lax. Leaving around April 25th , returning around the 20th.

I am a United FF , when I put in Lax-Perth Auck to Lax it books it as 2 tickets instead of round trip and is very expensive. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a better way? Any light to be shed would be much appreciated. I have searched so many sites and now I am confused......
