Many airports and airlines use "David" or something other than "Delta". In an air travel environment, it's probably best not to use the name of an airline.

"The flight to Austin is leaving from Delta 31"
"Honey, did he just say we need to go to the Delta gates?"
"Yeah, gate 31"
"Why Delta, aren't we flying American?"
"I guess the nice man knows what he's talking about, dear"
