If you have travel insurance, then see if you are covered under that.
1. Megabus UK does not give any refunds/compensation for delays.
2. None at all. It is your responsibility to arrive at the train station on time. You could have gotten a taxi/train or other form of transport to London. Similar to if you book two un-connected flights, if the first is delayed such that you miss the next one, too bad.
I think you are very lucky Megabus got you to Brussels for free.
