Not to switch topics, but I think the recent connection times are crazy.. 30-40 min is insane. Iah, sfo, ord...I've seen shorter and shorter this last year than I ever saw with pmUA.

To the OP, I don't think you are entitled anything, nor will get anything, but FWIW, I would log a complaint. I bet the delay was not the de-ice but rather ATC at Iah... Usually de-ice time is built in.
