If you have a regular ticket that is connecting in Frankfurt you can avoid entering the country in transit and don't need a transit visa. Thousands do it in FRA each day, LH is pretty good at handling it and if they say you don't need a transit visa, you don't need one. You can check the timatic details yourself:
