Not so fast! The article you link to says "the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)
may soon loosen its rules" and the original NYT article says "F.A.A.
May Loosen Curbs on Fliers’ Use of Electronics" (empahsis mine). This is far from a done deal, even if likely, and is certainly not "from now on".
