I would check out your "understanding" regarding the max no. of seats first. Last year 3 of us travelled in C from YYZ-CDG (outbound on AC thru LHR, return thru FRA on LH) using my wife's (who's only a basic member)Aeroplan points. There was no mention of any "2" limit, although of course there is some limit, hence our routing - only one flight to CDG each day, whereas several to LHR.
