you check in with the operating airline (although i believe that klm is handled by AF in this case anyway). in any case, when coming to CDG the signs there will tell you what desks to use to check in.
Other question is baggage. My receipt says 1 free bag per person (I am silver). Looking at the Delta website it appears that silvers get one additional free bag above the standard bag allowance. Is my receipt incorrect and I actually get two free bags?

believe that KLM's rules apply here, so you should only get one bag. But I let others confirm that, it's been a while that I have been silver.
