It simply amazes me the thingz that inexperienced travelers don't think to do . . . .
As a limo company owner, last week we were scheduled to pick someone up at the airport on a UA flight from EWR that was delayed. The pax called - I happened to answer the phone, and I told her that there was a LATER flight that was actually leaving earlier than hers. She said - Yeah, I saw it on the monitor - - - - and???? NOTHING! I told her to go to the GA to see if there's room (it was one gate away) - - And she got on!
