It appears that the World Cruise Center is about 12 miles from Long Beach (LGB) and 23 miles from LAX. The LGB airport website suggests that a cab is about $45.

Worth checking to see if your cruise line has any cheaper transport options.

Enterprise has a location near the cruise center, but as far as I can tell they only allow one-way rentals to airport locations -- so not much help.
