Guys - the external handles seal all those pockets. It's POSSIBLE to squeeze a small bag between the closed straps on the snap-button pocket, but then, I don't like keeping my 3-1-1 bag in that pocket because it's easy for stuff to fall out - a magazine is no big deal, my toiletries a bit more so. And to keep it more secure, you need to keep it "behind the straps." Which means to get it out, you need to undo the whole damn thing.

Same with the other side - the straps absolutely cover the zipper for the other, external zipped pocket. There's the tiny pocket on the one side, but it's too small for anything other than your keys and boarding passes.

I love the Air Boss, I love Red Oxx - but I have to admit, I really find this is an annoying design.
