Is it possible to earn UR points by clicking through Chase's shopping portal and using a gift card at the store's website? Or must a credit card be used?

Chase UR offers 5x points for Bass Pro, and I can buy a gift card for Bass Pro at a drugstore (5x on Chase Freedom this quarter). So if I were to click through the portal, might I conceivably earn 10x on my purchase?
