We bought 3 tickets from Kunming to Hong Kong and need a fourth ticket on the same flight, but the price (I'm checking a variety of sites, including ctrip) has gone up $100 (from $149 to $246). The flight is not for 3 and 1/2 weeks so should I wait it out a bit, and if so, how long? Is there generally an ideal time in advance of the flight to buy tickets in China, when prices are at their lowest? I know the patterns are not the same as in US and getting closer to flight time can mean decreases rather than increases in the price. Thank you.
