IME, there are very few employers that will pay for someone to take a limited express train to work every day. What *does* happen, I imagine, is that people living in Narita, Yotsukaido, etc. get comped from their employer for a regular train pass and then buy up to NEX whenever they need an extra 30 minutes at home.
