Thanks. Size seems to be a pretty common complaint for the MLC Wheelie. The MLC itself was once actually true MLC (22*14*9) but that bag too shrank well below indicated sizes (interesting photos available on some enthusiast sites).

Is the Osprey Ozone true 22" or is the measurement on the frame with the wheels going past the requirements? I've seen that problem with other bags -- and have had heard about people having to check because those other bags didn't meet the sizer requirements. (e.g., old TravelPro and Tumi 22" bags were actually 22" frames but overall 24" size)

BTW has anyone looked at the Osprey Contrail? Only a pound or so heavier but heavier fabric and two pole handle. That one looks good too.

Just a couple of days ago I wouldn't have considered any of these bags... now I am being honest with myself and admitting I'd rather pull than carry (particularly in hot sticky climates) ...
