You can use any Admirals Club on the day that you use your pass. You don't even have to be flying AA. You just need to have physical access to that club.

You can take snacks within reason. But as the previous poster said, it's not anything great. My main reasons for buying a membership is the much better service from the AC agents (especially useful in irrops), quieter and nicer environment (couches, large TVs, etc), and free internet.
