If it's a non-weekend day/night, I agree. Tourist spot only as it's the famous "Billy Bob's." But some of those Texas country concerts can get crowded with people from FW and around the metroplex. I know that as I hava attended a few as a captive soul with my FW-born wife.

The Stockyards is the typical FW stop, and I'm sure there is a shuttle there. Touristy, but still fun with lots of character.
Hehe, the Stockyards were what I was referring to about locals... Billy Bob's at the Stockyards HAS gotten some great concerts. I've also gone to see the bull riding with my family that lives in the area - it costs something like $3 and is awesome. Only people that know how to ride bulls allowed - if you want to ride a mechanical bull one of those is in the Stockyards.
