My first experience booking AS with avios went relatively smoothly. The first person I called did not find the flight I was looking for and I felt I was bothering her. Maybe it is because I called at 7:50pm EST.

I called the next day and I was able to book my 2 tickets, I only paid taxes and she did not ask for the $25 to book over the phone. Now I am just waiting for the confirmation email. I have a booking reference but it does not seem to work on ba.com
