I think its only inevitable that Alaska will bring in the Q400s into Southeast and flying the milkruns. The cycles and short flight times are a killer on planes as they get older, no matter how well you keep them maintained. I can definitely see some SEA-KTN-PSG-JNU/SEA-KTN-WRG-JNU type flights, and even possibly up to Yakutat, with a subfleet whereby Alaska yanks out a few rows in the back of the plane for extra cargo/baggage, just as American Eagle did with the ATR-72s (last 2 rows on right side were removed)

I can't see QX installing RNP/ADSB on all the Q's - but I can see maybe 10 of them getting fitted for it.
