I recently landed in YYZ YXE to YYZ but had a connecting flight to ATL, and I was ok to go to the domestic lounge (wanted to get my colleague in) and the guy there said that I was ok to pick whatever lounge I wanted and just reminded me to leave enough time to go through customs and security.

Not sure what they would do with E35k, but no problems with E50k.
