AEX to HK Station + quick taxi ride to Admiralty (MTR is also an option, but why bother?). It's about as easy as airport transfers get (well, KUL is easier if you happen to be staying in Sentral). If I were him, I'd grab a shower at the hotel, and then head to Soho or Wanchai (not all of Wanch is sleazy).
