Had a Virgin flight into Florida that was pretty rough once with the oxygen canisters out for panicked passengers after landing. We had to divert due to low fuel and for some inexplicable reason we went around a couple hundred metres above the diversion runway, at which point the captain came on to explain that on closer inspection that runway wasn't long enough and we were going somewhere else.
