thanks for all the advice Letitride, I had no idea this was going to be so complicated. When i was in Bangkok, I just bought a nanosim for my iphone 5 and was good to go unlimited data for 2 weeks.
I foresee my usage will probably be for only a couple of days when I'm at the premium outlets, would need to send pictures of bags to my sister so I can be her slave while she takes her pick. If so, I could just get the T-Mobile activation kit and use the $3/day plan for that right?
I know my iPhone 5's 4G band is 1800Mhz but I'm fine with 3G speed since it's just a short use.
