Last fall in Pennsylvania we were able to pay cash at toll plazas that featured EZ-Pass. We're going to be driving in New Jersey and Delaware next month with a Hertz car and were assuming that we'd be able to do the same. I checked the DOT websites for both states and it looks like they accept cash for tolls. Of course websites can be out-of-date.

Is anyone here aware of cashless toll plazas in those 2 states? We don't use EZ-Pass locally but would be willing to get the necessary apparatus for travel if it comes to that.
