It is a shared use lounge waiting room. As a courtesy to other guests you should keep it tidy.
When I'm spending thousands on a ticket I Expect to be able to concentrate on important things (work, rest or play), not cleaning up.
Do you flush the toilets when you leave them?
No differrent to folding up your newspapers and leaving them neatly, and leaving your plates/drinks neatly pushed togehter, so that others can use the space immediatly if need be.
They don't have to wait for a cleaner between each guest.
