The people that have been sitting across from me have left "their" area a total disgrace. Four papers (ft, wsj, times and the mail sigh) have been left strewn across the floor. Used tissue papers left sitting on the tables and just before they left three tins of diest coke opened and left un-drank. It is a total disgrace.
I felt bad about the papers so attempted to tidy them up myself and apologised to the nice guys cleaning the tables.
Looking around there seems to be quite a number of areas left in a total tip. Crisp packets, tissues and papers lying everywhere.
When I leave the lounge I do attempt to clean up even a little bit. The way some of these places have been left are a disgrace!! I feel sorry for the attendents that are trying to clean the place.

Fair point and Im sure people could certainly make more of an effort, I can't remember there being many bins for pax to use though.
I know it would make it a bit more McDonalds like but if the staff can not cope with the levels of mess being made by pax, then perhaps better provision should be made to allow pax to be able to clean up after themselves.
