When DL was delayed getting us into MSP last week, I missed my connecting flight to SEA by less than one minute, after a long spring from A to F terminal. Sadly, the GA wouldn't let me board since the door was closed/closing.

Have you ever been successful getting DL to hold your connecting flight? If so, how did you make that happen?

I don't mean this to sound like a DYKWIA question, I'm just wondering if I should have asked for help. We've all been on those flights where the FA announces that we're waiting for flyers who were delayed, but I don't understand how that process works, obviously. Got to spend some real quality time in the MSP Sky Club, always a bonus!
