Hi,

My wife and I could benefit until today of the "Platinum for two" possibility granted for Platinum Amex AF-KLM holders.
Since the new rule for qualifying miles, I have been downgraded to Flying Blue Gold from 01/04/2013 (with the same Amex Plat card) and so my wife, which I did not expect (I thought she would directly fall to Ivory as she does not fly enough)
So now, we are both in what I would call a "Gold for 2" benefit.

My question is the following :
As my flights on AF-KLM will allow me this year to remain at the FB Gold level, will my wife will also have her status linked to mine in 2014 or will she be downgraded to Silver and then Inory whereas I will stay Gold ?

No one at Amex has been able to provide me a definitive answer on that question.
