I have booked a first class ticket on BA that gets into SFO at 5:25pm. I'm trying to make a UAL flight to Burbank that departs at 6:57 pm. I am traveling with family and checked luggage. I have no idea how much of a zoo C&I is at SFO, or whether BA will check our luggage thru on the UAL connecting flight to BUR (even though I have to clear customs at SFO)?

No you won't make it.
Your 2 flights are considered an illegal connection - even if they are on the same ticket. The minimum connecting time is
105 mins.
BA will not check your bags through .. and anyway, you still have to collect your bags at SFO since it is the first entry point in the USA and then recheck them with UA.
