Seems like sightseeing would be a bit challenging in those temps. Any suggestions? Does India do "siesta"?
We're obviously tempted to take very lightweight clothing, but I keep reading that shorts are generally a bad idea in India. True? No problem with short sleeve shirts, right?
I am not surprised. We were there in Feb and it was already pretty warm most days. I've heard that places like Jaisalmer start getting unbearable around April, and the camel safaris shut down for a couple months, since no tourist in their right mind would want to go then (plus, it's hard on the camels).
