First you didn't see "illiterate" and now you're saying you were making assumptions based on it?

Besides, illiterate is illiterate. If we're going to trust the OP on the veracity of this issue, we have to trust his/her words.

My advice to OP - if you're not going to accompany, don't complain about a bad outcome when the illiterate, elderly woman runs into trouble.
