Honestly, I would have a translation card handy naming what kind of drink your MIL wants.
Thanks for the advice; we will prepare a few cards for her so that she can show to the FAs while onboard. Looks like we will be call UAL to order wheelchair service for her, so that she is taken care of from after checking-in to her seat. Now, can I request a gate pass for me (so that I can escort her to the gate) in additional to the wheelchair service?
