I agree about the horrific cost of the service but if you're here that frequently then you should buy a network railcard (£28) which gives 1/3rd off the HEX.
You can just walk into any train station (in the South East anyway) and buy one.

Did have a look at the other posts regarding the railcard in this thread (
post 100 and
post 54) and I think will get one next Tuesday, I'm near Liverpool Station anyway.
Just one question regarding the conditions, I'm aware that they are not useful before 10 am. But can a railcard roundtrip ticket be used similiar to the HEX tickets, so regardless of the direction you booked for (using them twice on the same direction within 1 month)?
