When you cross the Bridge and Arrive @ the Niagara Falls, ON VIA/GO Station, Everyone will take their Luggage and go into the Station and be checked by Canadian Officials insdie the Station. You will have been given your Declaration Card aboard the Maple Leaf , Fill it out Before Arrival! This is where the Train becomes a VIA Train which involves Changing Crews (and Cafe items) so you may be Delayed while they Change Crews! Usually Very Quick and Friendly Service from the Canadians!

If you return to the US on the Train, the Procedure is the Same except the Crews Change out @ the Niagara Falls,ON Station and you will go into the Amtrak Station on the NY Side after crossing the River and go into the Government Offices for your Check! Allow 2 and a Half Hours for this Procedure, even if the Check is done Quicker the Schedule is Followed!!
