Another option would be to reserve your exit row seat and then leave check in to the very last moment. That way your exit row seat will be kept but you will also have the chance to a free row if there is one left.

But as highpeaklad has looked it up and it shows Y9 B8 I wouldn't get my hopes up very high. Maybe ask for a paid upgrade at the airport?
