I mean none whatsoever. Not even a x-ray machine or a security guard. So nice that was.
I think it depends on the flight and the aircraft... Last week I boarded a Beech 1900D in WLG, there was no security check at all, while a domestic JetStar flight (Airbus A320) on the gate next to us seemed to have a security check. And since the small regional airports get served by those small planes, my guess is, there is no security too. At least in Westport there was no security at all.
It was nice, but since I didn't know about it I left the lounge to early and had to kill some time at the gate...
