For a paid weekend stay, I would pick Hyatt Dulles over Fair Lakes due to the nicer rooms, free business center (no free printing at Fair Lakes), better breakfast (smoked salmon in Dulles breakfast buffet), and a superior gym with more weight machines. Fair Lakes is in a more central location, but their weekend room rates have gone up lately to 98 for AAA (about 18-27 more than Dulles). That is not much less than HR Reston at 107 + 8 for self parking, but Reston has a club lounge that is closed on weekends so diamond members get an extra 2500 points. I would also consider Hyatt House in Sterling since they have a good breakfast and are close to a Wegmans, an awesome grocery store chain. Fair Lakes isn't far away from another Wegmans either.
