The problem is I've already got all these Air Miles earned over the years that I'm gonna have to use at some point. Thought it might be a good way to burn them, but apparently not.

I've got the Chase Freedom, so can't do the UR transfer with that. I'm trying to figure out if the Sapphire Preferred is worth it for me. I'd probably have to transfer the Freedom account. Trying to figure out if the annual fee (after first year free) is worth the two main advantages I see over the Freedom, which is the ability to transfer points and the no foreign transaction fees. I know the SP gives a 7% extra UR points at the end of the year, but the freedom advantage is it gives me an extra 10 points/swipe plus an extra 10%. Plus the 5% bonus categories each quarter. Which is a lot more points then I'd get with the SP.
