We still serve a hot breakfast on the GLA route up until 09.30. We also do this on the EDI and ABZ.

Ten years ago it was a similar hot breakfast in a foil but it sat in a melamine serving dish and the tray was slightly larger. It was more or less the same meal that we now serve. Sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs, mushrooms and tomato.

I don't think we have ever served it plated on china but I have only been flying on short haul for 13 years. Definitely no china in the last 13 years.

The coffee cup on the GLA and other Scottish flights used to be china though.
