BA Silver and Gold can use the Fast Track security at DUB T1... it is usually fairly efficient. Slow track security can be overwhelmed at peak times and is to be avoided.

There is also a connections route from the baggage reclaim hall, it's a stairs at one end which deposits you in the main security search area... I've never used it but seem to recall it gets you near the front of the queue, and could be a better option if statusless.

Passport control for EU citizens has never taken me more than 5 minutes (average 1-2 minutes), and walking distances from the gate back to immigration/security are not bad.
