All the crew also knew me by name.
Hate to disappoint, but on my recent Qantas flight in their Premium Economy cabin on the A380 into London the CSM (or equiv) came round to EVERYBODY in the cabin and introduced himself and said if I had any questions about anything to let him know. I have no status anymore and haven't for a decade. The crew that were serving always began talking with "Mr dddc" . I thought this was really unusual as I'd just done a sector in their Business class and while I was always addressed as "Mr dddc" the CSM never came round. Then again, that may have been as I'd been OpUped on that leg!
