Outgoing for breakfast was a choice of some type of egg dish or maple walnut french toast with fresh fruit and a biscuit. Return flight started with an appetizer of shrimp on a chipolte sauce and salad. Dinner was chicken stir fry (which was actually good) or penne with marinara sauce. Standard apple tart for desert. Wine and drinks were refreshed every 5 minutes. Service was excellent.
I've read US Airways was updating first class meals. This is a good start for a "domestic" flight.
I've noticed a slight improvement, nothing ground breaking on my long-haul routes this year. I think the quality of the offerings in the basket has declined.
